Roots'n'Blues is a non-profit italian organization, headquartered in Parma/Italy and founded in January 2004. Its purpose is the promotion and the development of the rural/indigenous American and Afro-American musical art forms, in the Emilia-Romagna region (northern Italy).
The main objective of the Roots'n'Blues Association is the development of a "training way" formed by: conferences, exhibitions, meetings in schools, workshops, live concerts and all those events that will draw the public and private Italian Institutions (municipalities, foundations, establishments etc.), and the italian general public to a specific interest for the musical art form considered as "mother of the modern music".
One of the most important activities of the Roots'n'Blues Association is the work about a music-cultural partnership with Institutions, Foundations, Universities, musicians etc. belonging primarily to the United States of America and secondarily to Africa and Europe.
